"Brewtal Truth" column, Decibel Magazine 2009–2019

I wrote this craft beer column for Decibel magazine every month for nearly 10 years—that's more than 100 columns. It was the longest-running column in the magazine and it ultimately inspired Decibel to create annual heavy metal and craft beer festivals in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. I spun off the success of this column into a book deal in 2013, and Lyons Press published the Brewtal Truth Guide to Extreme Beers.
